Hi, my name is Rene'. I'm not new to homeschooling but I just found this forum last week! I have 3 girls, ages 12, 10, and 8, and they have always been homeschooled. I do *not* feel that I have arrived yet, which is one reason I'm registering here.

Hello and welcome. I lived the first 35 yrs. of my life in Lubbock, TX and then the Lord saw fit to move my family to Vermont! :shock: Wow, what a change. Enjoy your times here!
Thank you both! I'm in the Houston area. I would LOVE to move to Vermont! But my dh hates the cold. If the Lord ever wanted us to move up north He would probably have to miraculously translate my husband. I do have to admit that I love being a "Texan", just don't love the heat. Right now I'm longing for Autumn.
I don't like the heat either, but at least in TX I had an air conditioner in my house. Up here they don't have ac because, "you don't need it." Hello-when it is over 80* IN my house and I am sweating IN my house, I need ac. LOL Anyway I would be longing for Autumn, too, but that just means that 6-8 mon. of snow is just around the corner! But I love it up here.
