You're amazing! I was just thinking that I didn't know you had a 3 year old then I saw your blog - which is adorable BTW - and saw she is one you are fostering. How wonderful! Although my son is VERY bored with summer - he is not yet ready to dive back into school...I don't know if that day will EVER come!
I think they are looking forward to doing "something".... next week we are on vacation again - so they can play.... but I would love to have 1 week done
Great JOb Dana!~ I cant get my kids to get thier rooms clean yet this week! Come and take over my house for a week would ya?
What's a clean room??? LOL Actually what helped is that the 16 year old HAS to do Algebra II - she got accepted at the VoTech school for nursing next year and so has no room in her school schedule for math but it's a required course for graduation. The 15 year old is doing vocabulary.... which is really good for her. The 2 others started their Kolbe schedule. Cool thing is that Kolbe schedules for a 4 day school week - so they have a day to "finish/catch up" with most of their subjects (math is different)
We start July 5th for the littles and Garrett starts his trial run starting July 12th (he is at camp the 4th-11th). I'm not even close to getting ready to get started...lol. Way to go to all of you who are on the ball already!
I guess maybe its okay for me to take a break for a bit, my dd graduated two weeks ago, my youngest is all I have to teach now for the next 5 years.. well aside from all that lovely help I get to give college students! Dd will take a couple courses at the cc this fall , I can't make her go get a job yet cause she is volunteering with me at the vbs and two camps so we are kinda working already this summer, so we are looking at the fall. There is a neighbors girl, dd of my bests friends dd , lol, who my dd may end up baby sitting in fall between college courses. My best friend is who got me into home schooling back in the day her kids are all grown now too though. Makes me feel old! But today ds will be doing summer school Math and History , because we saved some to do so and we will be busy the rest of summer after these two weeks! So.. between bowling at one place and the other we are doing baseball and math and history.. that is a break! lol really it is!
