Hey guys! I want to make some neat file folder games for my DS who is turning 3 next week! I need some nifty ideas on what kind of games to do! Can you guys help me out on this one? Have any of you done file folder games and had luck with them? Thanks!
I used to make these all the time because I am a crafter. but... even easier go to filefolderfun.com. You have to join but they have a lot of stuff there for free.
I just made some last week, Mackenzie loves them. I bought a CD of 200+ games on eBay, but there are a TON of sites to get them free from.
I just found http://www.filefolderfun.com/ myself today and I love it. I love that they have templates so you can make your own games too. So I looked for more LOL and found a couple of more sites http://www.enchantedlearning.com/filefoldergames/ http://www.mormonchic.com/crafty/filefolders.asp http://www.daycareresource.com/filefoldergames34789.html
I've made games from all those sites - I have a mess of them. My boys LOVE them. We're down to the 3yo, but sometimes the 5yo likes to play just for nostalgia, I think. I have a few with skills for older kids, too. They're work, but they seem to last better than I expected - most of mine have been through three kids. Have fun.
when DS was younger I used filefolderfun all the time. I just wish they had some games for older kids.
I wish there were some for older kids too! My older ones are jealous of the 2 year old's stash! My son and I did make some for him though. I used clip art and then wrote on the clip art after printing. We made multiplication 2-12. Some of the things we did: Basketball in basketball hoop soccer ball in soccer net baseball in baseball glove elephant and peanut fortune cookie with fortune (this one was fun, they all say "the answer you seek is____) If anyone knows of good file folder games for the 8 and up range, I am all ears!
I purchased the complete set from this website, but they also sell the games individually. They are really cute and they go up to 3-4 grade level. http://www.myffgames.com/
