We will be going live very soon, and when we do, new members will be allowed in by invitation only. This will hopefully build a community of trust among us homeschoolers. Any member can send invitations to anyone they "know" well enough to know they are a real homeschooler and not a spammer. I'd like to join, and be part of the community, but right now I'm a very frugal homeschooler so I have nothing to buy or sell at this time. Should I join, or leave it for those who need it more?
Carrie, can I extend an invitation to homeschoolers I know now (when they don't need an "official" invitation, or should I wait? Are you sticking with homeschoolspot homeschoolers right now?
Anyone you know...go ahead! When I enable invitation only it becomes more time consuming to send the invites!

Ok, so if I join do I have to do anything? I mean what if I don't have anything to share or want to buy? can I just lay stagnant til I'm ready?
ok so I checked out the site some, in the future, will we be able to trade other things besides curriculum? For ex, I could trade a book for a tshirt, or a video for shoes, or a cd for an iris? Or will it always be curriculum/curriculum? just wondering!
