So, I'm looking to buy this series. (Keyword being "series"). For my students but also for myself. I was able to get several of the DVD's from the library today, so I will soon be experiencing Signing Time for my self. (I watched Vol 1. like...2 years ago.)

I'm interested in Languages so I will be using the product myself and sharing it with my students and anyone who is interested. But, if you dont know, ST is EXPENSIVE. $220 for Season 1 and $220 for Season 2. Or $250 for Classroom edition.

I like that the classroom edition is organized by topic and comes with lessons etc...but does it include ALL the signs from the series?

    Does anyone know?

I am not answering your question, but I just checked Best Buy, where I bought some of our our series 2, and they still have them at an amazing price ($30 for 7 discs!):

    series 2 discs 1-3

    series 2 dics 4-7

I found some neat signing videos at the library. Maybe you could see if your local library has what you want, and check those out before deciding to buy?

I love Signing Time. We used to get them out of the library when my youngest was a baby. She could sign so much stuff. She started talking REALLY early, too. I'm told that is why.

I like the Best Buy deal. :) That's what I'd go for. :)

That's funny, I taught my 3rd child (and still do) ASL and he didn't talk forever, and I was told that's why!

We're gonna use a series Netflix has after I teach the kids all teh signs I know from having 2 deaf childhood friends. I pay for Netflix every month anyway for our only source of TV-so, no extra costs ;)

I've decided that since the library seems to have the whole of series 1 and series 2, I'm going to slowly check them all out, study them, learn them and then when I buy something, Buy an actual curriculum or series of lessons.

SimplySonita, that series I have heard is GREAT and I am waaay more interested in conversational signing than in "random" signing. I may look into acquiring it or something like it.
