I have read some rave reviews about this program. My concern is that my son would feel like I was babying him if I used this. The website does say that older kids can use it. I wonder if it would help his spelling or not. It teaches the whys behind the spelling rules. I don't know if his spelling is bad because he doesn't know when to use ie or ei or such, or if his spelling is bad because he doesn't put as much effort into as he should. It is not atrocious (like his grandfather's lol), but he makes such simple errors. I really get upset when he misspells a word that is right in front of him. I say all this and then I wonder about several of the words in this post.
It's a good program and you wouldn't have to use the letter tiles. He could just write the words on a white board or on paper.
