Yep (in my sig too). Like others, I have recently done a complete make over with it. It's still a work in progress as I streamline it to homeschooling.
I would love to start a HS blog but I rarely ever even get time to get on here! I think it would be a great way to keep a record of what we're doing and also share with family. However, I don't know if I'm as creative as most. We may give it a try though.
What's up with that? I just started a blog, too. And, like everyone else, I can't seem to post daily because life is happening. Are there any hard and fast rules to how often to blog? (not trying to hijack the thread, just curious as I don't want included on your list if I'm doing it all wrong. :lol: )
Hi, Yes I do have a blog. http://www.adventurehollow.blogspot.com I basically started mine this summer as things got into full swing. I have family all over the globe and made it up to keep them in touch and to share the multitude of free resources I have come across for learning. Still working out the kinks though. I haven't quite figured out how to clear up my second page that I was hoping to just have links for unit studies on so it's a mess my apologies.
In my siggy Hopefully there will be daily post (M-F) starting this Monday as I plan to use it for record keeping, not just blogging for the sake of blogging....
Hi Brooke~ I am new to blogging too, but I have viewed many and while all of them seem to have the basic info (curriculum, pics, room photos, etc), I don't think there is any rules that are set in stone. Ginger~ I briefly made mine private to make some changes. I will open it back up as soon, hopefully by tomorrow. Only if you are blogging for money-then you want fresh content on the blog daily at the very least. When I blogged for money I aimed for 2-3 new posts a day.
OK, I never like looking like I don't know what's going on, but since you can't see me (LOL) I'll ask a question. Let me first say, that until earlier this year we didn't have Internet at home or use the Internet else where for the last 10 yrs., so I am way behind the times. Anyway, what exactly is a blog? I mean I have seen them, but I didn't know you could "blog for money!" Anyway, go ahead and laugh, but then please explain. Thanks!
My blog is in my signature. Ginger blogging for money takes several forms you can host ads on your site, you can hook up with companies and write reviews of their products. I have had adds on my site since 2008 but I have not made any money. I will be removing ads as that is not the main reason I am blogging. My site is not just a hs blog, for those of you who may stop by.
