Sure, you all can come over anytime!! Actually that does sound like fun!! LOL

Chicken Biscuit is probably the most unhealthy thing a child can eat for breakfast, but hey, they can have it once in awhile. They used to eat it for breakfast in PS, so now they like to have it once in awhile. It is an actual Chicken Tender (that you would eat for supper) and it sits between just a regular ole biscuit. They love it!~ I just make up a bunch of biscuits ahead of time and freeze them and then just microwave a chicken tender that we buy frozen. Sure, not the most healthy thing in the world, but once in awhile is okay with me! :)

They also love the eggs DH makes with toast in the frying pan. He cuts a whole in the buttered toast and puts an egg in the whole. Not sure what you would call it other then 'eaten' lol

We usually call that "egg toast" OR "toad in a hole".

DH gets us before I do, and makes coffee. Sometimes he'll make breakfast for himself, and sometimes he'll ask if I want something, but mostly we each just get for ourselves because we're hungry at different times. For a really big breakfast, I might like a grilled cheese sandwich, or a fried-hard egg with cheese grilled sandwich, or a slice of lunch meat with a fried egg with cheese grilled sandwich. Or I might just nuke a weenie and eat that with a slice of bread. If dgs is with us on a weekend, DH might make pancakes or french toast, which dgs absolutely loves. DH and I hardly ever eat cold cereal for breakfast - usually that ends up being supper or a snack, but he might make himself some oatmeal for breakfast (I don't like the way he makes it).

You freeze Pillsbury biscuits? Why not just fix them in the morning?

Does anyone make French Toast ahead of time and freeze it? If so is it good and how do you warm it up?

    I'll share my mama's biscuit recipe-but I'll admit-I cheat I buy frozen biscuits-I don't do canned biscuits though-those are nasty LOL

You fill a large bowl full of flour-make a well in the middle.

Put a couple of tablespoons of crisco or lard in and add 3-4 teaspoons of baking powder and about a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and about a teaspoon of salt (we don't actually measure anything LOL)

Mix this together to make "crumbs" Then add about a cup of buttermilk. Then you'll mix this around and it will gather flour from the sides of the well. Once you get the to the consistency of slightly sticky dough, flour your hands well and shape into biscuits. Place on a greased pan.

Bake at 450 about 15-20 until done ;)

mmmmmm homemade biscuits and gravy.....yummy! Now I want biscuits and gravy! LOL

Well we use to not be big breakfast eater here but I found out if I made the girls eat something even if its a little something it they work a lot better at school.
Anyway when my oldest dd was small I took her to the doctor for a check up and he ask about her eating happens I told him she is not a big breakfast eater, dont' like the food, don't care to much for breakfast food in the mornings will eat it sometimes at nights but not in the mornings. He made a point to me and I have gone by it since then and thats been over 10 years ago. Who said and where in print does it say you can only have pancakes, cereal and things like that for breakfast, he said if she wants a hamburger or hot dog for breakfast let her have it at least she is getting something in her to do better in school.
Here we eat alot of left overs for breakfast and love it. We do eat breakfast sometimes but most the time we eat breakfast food at nights.

so for breakfast we eat leftover pizza, leftover hamburgers, hot dogs, cassroles, almost anything like that.
