My son told his dad we didn't have school today (cause we didn't do it in our classroom and I didn't make him write anything LOL) We just used living books and sat in the living room floor for our 'formal' school time today.

I must say that when I started reading these posts I thought to myself "Thank God, I am not the only one whose kids hate school . . . no matter if it is at home or not!"
Today dd went to me.."Well school is not that bad really." I know she would prefer to play but she does love learning new stuff. She keeps going when do we learn more words in Latin. I love a 7 year old who is asking to learn more words in Latin.
We are using Song School Latin this year as an introduction. She loves signing the songs and will go around using the few words she has learned.
