DH took DS to a football game this evening. While they were there, a fellow football fan asked DS what school he goes to. His response: "I go to homeschool because the public education system failed me." DH just told me this, and I have tears running down my face from laughing so hard! ROFL :lol:
I guess he forgot that we named our school. I had told him that when people ask where he attends, he is can say: "I go to Lyons Creek Academy."
Laugh laugh laugh! I asked DH what the football fan had said in return, but apparently, the conversation ended with that!
:chuckle: Or even I'd he had kids of his own? That would certainly make someone rethink things a bit.

LOL. My son's reply after the first time he was asked that in the Dr's office by another Mom was 'I quit school after grade one cause it wasn't working for me.' lol. The seriousness of how he said it was really funny. I of course explained to the Mom who was shocked. And now he just says he homeschools.
