Online, I keep seeing patches labeled for scouts &/or homeschool....does anyone NOT in scouts do these with their children? I found a lot of boy/unisex ones & was thinking it would be fun...but idk that we "need" another project ;)

If you haven't already, check out Homeschool Huskies @ Rainbow Resource (There is also "Ponies' for girls)....I just ordered Volume 1. Someone really needs to remove this debit card from my hand.

I have thought about buying my 3 year old patches from the boy scout store (his big brother IS a cub scout and DOES earn patches and belt loops and such)

I also thought about signing him up for a local monthly http://www.keepersofthefaith.com/ meeting.... (you can do this just as a family too)

But like you said, another project....LOL

One thing we did as a family when we still lived in GA was to visit the state parks and walk their trails. After we had walked them we would stop at the little store and buy the patches with that particular trail's name on it....we now have quite a few! The kids loved collecting them.

I need to find out if Mn state parks do the same thing.....
