Oh we had this last night. So I am a TERRIBLE mother. I have been so overwhelmed with school, co-op, various playdates and practices and so on that I bought a load of SCHWANNS. No it wasnt the cheapest way to go but it is so wonderful to just pull something out and throw it in the oven. I am alternating it with from scratch meals but right now Im only cooking, cooking, about twice a week.

Tonight is stuffed chicken and sauteed asparagus.

I'm not sure what all we will have, but I do know it will involve yellow crookneck squash since my garden has decided that I need to eat alot of those this week ;)

I made Chicken Brats, baked beans, potato salad and chips last evening for supper. Not sure what I'm making tonight as my hubby and boys are going camping, so I'll be by myself. Might meet my Mom for supper. :)

We ate out at Olive Garden. One kid had the kids pizza, the other ravioli. Hubby had spaghetti, and I had Calimari appetizer, a glass of wine and we wiped out 2 or 3 bowls of salad and baskets of bread sticks.

I would have had the ministrone but I just made a batch of that and just finished it up the day before yesterday. My dd10 was so pleased that it was like the soup she liked from Olive Garden.

Now I know that red kidneys, zucchinni and many other things are actually edible and that kids can survive eathing them. LOL

We had cube steak and gravy. Tomorrow Carl has requested spaghetti. I'll be home all day, so I'll probably bake some Singing Bread to go along iwth it.

We had chicken, french fries and vegetable medley. Not sure what we'll have tomorrow, since I have to work 12pm-6pm, probably left overs or something easy!

Jackie we had tacos/taco salad last night....... we've gone from buying 2 of the taco bell dinner kits to just one and one extra packet of seasoning and a taco salad bowl kit. I love the taco salad bowls.

Tonight its turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and peas. DH will just want a turkey sandwich.

We got got the taco bowl kit in the refrigerated at walmart (at the wal-mart neighborhood grocery store) its about $1.50 or so for 4. they aren't normal tortillas, they are thicker and they are docked and they come with little cardboard forms that you put together (2 tabs) and lay the tortilla over. They get really crunchy just like a real taco bowl.:p
