My 18yo ds called me about 30 min. ago, he was crying so hard that he couldn't even talk. I finally asked him if he was OK and he said, "yes, just give me a minute." Then he finally started to say, "Mom, I am OK, God kept me safe, mom, God kept me safe, I love you mom, God kept me safe." Anyway, he said this over and over and then he said, "Mom, if you could see the truck mom, you would understand why I am so upset, God kept me safe mom." Anyway, him and a co-worker where coming back from an out of town job, and they were hit by an Escalade. Praise the Lord, no one was seriously hurt, the police and EMTs said they don't understand how no one was seriously hurt or killed. Praise the Lord again, and praise Him that my ds knows that it was all of God that they are all safe. Thank you for letting me share, as I am pretty shaken up, too, just want to hold my young man.:cry:
Yes, He is, "amazing powerful and gracious.'' DS just called from work. The police took him back. I told him that better be the only time he rides in a police car. LOL He said they hit each other dead on. They were both going between 40 and 50 mph. Oh, ladies give all of yours a hug at least 10 times to day and show them how much you love them, tell them too. Not that you don't anyway, I am just saying. Praise God.
Amazing! Praising God that your son is ok. This is so weird because this is the second time in a week I hear about someone walking away from a horrific car crash. My friend lives in San Antonio and just 4 days ago her gas pedal stuck as she was exiting the freeway. The car was going 60 MPH and she tried desperatly not to hit anyone else. She hit a stop sign, brick wall and fence before throwing the car in park and going through another fence. Bystanders drug her out of the car and she got about 100ft away before the car exploded. She walked away without a mark on her. Bystanders told her that when they pulled her out she was enveloped in a white light. This is the same girl that 15 years ago was kidnapped from a college campus, stabbed in the neck and thrown out the car. God has a plan for this girl.
God is good. So wonderful for your son to see God's work so clearly in his life. I am so happy everyone is safe!
