15 yr. old boy, Physical science-Apologia ( I like it a lot) English: grammar-Winston Grammar (yeah) and maybe some BJU later on Vocab-Vocabulary from Classic Roots (I love this) spelling-Spelling Power (yes, he still needs practice-but doing better) literature-we have a BJU book, but we will mostly be doing our own choice for reading Math-MUS and maybe some TT (I am a curriculum junkie and we have a lot of resources) Bible-daily reading and I did buy a book from A Beka (might use it) and we will also do some "living" out the Bible-visiting people who can't come to church, attending prayer services, etc. PE-Well I will be honest, we are not too disciplined in this area. One of my goals is to start a daily routine (for me and him) History--This is the subject I am most excited about. We are winging it. I bought a curriculum, but after some thought, I asked him if he wanted to do that or study his own choice of things. He chose to study his own stuff (who would have thought). This week he has been reading through a book about Daniel Boone. I have been reading about him also. The great thing is if you read about historical people you learn a lot about what was going on during their lives. We have a partial set of "History Of Us" and I am looking forward to buying the rest of the set. I also get to return the curriculum I bought and get back $89 minus shipping.

I love answering this question! 5th grade dd is using: Bible: Picture Smart Bible (I just started selling this and we love it) Math: Teaching Textbooks LA: Easy Grammar Writing: Imitiation in Writing - Greek Mythology Spelling: Spelling Power (big orange book) Vocab: English from the Roots Up History: Mystery of History Vol 1 Science: Considering God's Creation Geography: The Ultimate Geography and Timeline Guide I just received some AWESOME worldiew curriculum by Brimwoodpress.com for review. I am gonna start selling it, but just looking at it so far, I LOVE it and want to try to incorporate it somehow at somepoint. The same goes with Add a Century Timeline. I really thought I was over doing it, but the way we have our schedule with not doing everything everyday is helping out and it is surprisingly not bad at all. We are doing great so far, although it has only been a week. My dd loves the writing curriculum. I am enjoying teaching her this year because I am learning stuff too!

Computer - writing my own lesson plans using Office for Dummies.
