    15 yr. old boy,

    Physical science-Apologia ( I like it a lot)

    English:
grammar-Winston Grammar (yeah) and maybe some BJU later on
Vocab-Vocabulary from Classic Roots (I love this)
spelling-Spelling Power (yes, he still needs practice-but doing better)
literature-we have a BJU book, but we will mostly be doing our own choice for reading

Math-MUS and maybe some TT (I am a curriculum junkie and we have a lot of resources)

Bible-daily reading and I did buy a book from A Beka (might use it) and we will also do some "living" out the Bible-visiting people who can't come to church, attending prayer services, etc.

PE-Well I will be honest, we are not too disciplined in this area. One of my goals is to start a daily routine (for me and him)

History--This is the subject I am most excited about. We are winging it. I bought a curriculum, but after some thought, I asked him if he wanted to do that or study his own choice of things. He chose to study his own stuff (who would have thought). This week he has been reading through a book about Daniel Boone. I have been reading about him also. The great thing is if you read about historical people you learn a lot about what was going on during their lives. We have a partial set of "History Of Us" and I am looking forward to buying the rest of the set. I also get to return the curriculum I bought and get back $89 minus shipping.

We are doing the treadmill for PE. Vicki has lost 24lbs on it in 2 months. She has some female problems and had to lose iit. We are striving for her to about 70 in all. She calls the treadmill "The Death Trap."

    I love answering this question!

    5th grade dd is using:
Bible: Picture Smart Bible (I just started selling this and we love it)
    Math: Teaching Textbooks
    LA: Easy Grammar
Writing: Imitiation in Writing - Greek Mythology
Spelling: Spelling Power (big orange book)
Vocab: English from the Roots Up
History: Mystery of History Vol 1
    Science: Considering God's Creation
Geography: The Ultimate Geography and Timeline Guide

I just received some AWESOME worldiew curriculum by Brimwoodpress.com for review. I am gonna start selling it, but just looking at it so far, I LOVE it and want to try to incorporate it somehow at somepoint. The same goes with Add a Century Timeline.

I really thought I was over doing it, but the way we have our schedule with not doing everything everyday is helping out and it is surprisingly not bad at all. We are doing great so far, although it has only been a week.

My dd loves the writing curriculum. I am enjoying teaching her this year because I am learning stuff too!

    We're doing:
    With both girls...
My Father's World, Creation to the Greeks, plus Mystery of History vol.1, plus some map and history things from Knowledge Quest (I like maps!)
Apologia's Exploring Creation with Human Anatomy and Physiology
We will be starting El Espanol Facil this month (we bought bookshelves for all my homeschool stuff last month - yayy!)

    Separately, they do:
    Singapore Math (1 & 3)
    Rod & Staff English (1 & 3)
Rod & Staff Reading (it's reading comprehension and vocabulary using Bible readers - great program!) (2 & 4)
    Sequential Spelling
    English From the Roots Up
Bible Type (learning to touch type)
And they are going to be doing a Precepts (for kids) Bible study on 1 Timothy at our church during our weekly ladies' Bible study.

We started doing "little homeschool" (math, English, reading comprehension, and handwriting) 2 weeks ago to get back into the routine. We are going to start "big homeschool" (everything else) this week - but not today, since I did something to my back this weekend and can't sit in the chair that long. Ouch! Hopefully tomorrow...

    Together 5&8th gr. boys -
    English -
Hands on Essays (we are liking this, I think)
    Vocabulary Vine (I like this!)
Caught ya grammar...(not as great as I was hoping, but ok.)
    Science -
Dr. Art does Science (book and dvd) Just started today, so not sure yet.
    History -
read aloud "Stowaway" (kind of dull...but not horrid, fairly good mapwork...Captain cook's voyage, fiction)
Simple Schooling American History- Not too bad...supplemented with videos when I can find them.
    Bible -
Using a bible fact book we got from church...it is fun, and we have gotten into the BEST discussions.
Also planning on using 'God is Closer than You Think" later, as a read aloud.

    8th grade
    Science -
Simple Schooling Physics - (the interactive online...seems to be "sticking" better than the straight text.)
    Math -
Issues here...Algebra Survival Guide (he likes it) and trying TT (he doesn't like it)
considering ALEKS...will probably go ahead and buy a month to try when we get back from vacation.
Computer - writing my own lesson plans using Office for Dummies. And typing...for speed
Handwriting - pretty much confined to practice signing his name....hadn't thought about it, but he had to sign a contract the other day (ok, he didn't HAVE to but still) and he couldn't. hmmmm. so we are working on that. (ps skipped cursive, and we went straight to typing)

    5th grade
    Math-
Saxon 76, with occasional supplementation from other stuff I have around.
    Typing-
    Typing instructor Deluxe
    Handwriting-
various poems and bible verses in cursive...soon all reports final draft will be in cursive. (go figure, this one LIKES cursive)
