We have a Church member that keeps giving us Roast, which I am praising the Lord for, but we are tired of the classic RP&C. Can you can me some good recipes for roast? Thanks!

cut it up into chunks and put it in the crock pot with 2 cans of mushroom soup and a bit of water. Cook all day and serve over rice.

Beef Pot Pie is what my kids like best with leftover R,C&P. Also, you can make good roast beef sandwiches.

Pulled Beef Sandwiches are also easy. Cook the roast all day until it's tender, pull it with a fork, add a package of AuJus and water, and serve on a bun. Plus it's GREAT to freeze! I get my roasts BIGI, and do four at a time in my electric roaster, eat one and freeze the rest.

If you freeze the meat just a little and then slice it super thin and make cheese steaks. Also shred it and make BBQ Beef sandwiches. slice thin and use for stir fry

Cook in a crock pot with a pkg. of dry au jus mix, a pkg. dry italian dressing mix, and a jar (the whole thing) of banana peppers.

Take a knife to it. Strips for stir fry or stroganoff/gravy with noodles or rice. Chunks for stew, soup, chili or pot pie. Slices for steaks.

Chunk it up and make vegetable-beef-soup. Great with cornbread.

    Rats! Now I'm hungry!

What they said, except I'm craving beef now. I can't remember the last time I had a roast.

Brown the roast on all sides, put in crockpot and cook low covered in bbq sauce. Then shred with a fork, they are the best bbq beef sandwiches ever!

Also, I buy roasts when on sale and slice into strips, and make fajitas out of them. That is a family favorite and something different, it takes a bit of work to cut them up, but they are cheaper than steaks and one roast feeds us better.

I forgot that you can throw it in the crockpot with salsa and cook it until it falls apart (like you would with bbq beef) and then use it for enchilada filling or anything similar.

You can make tacos, burritos, add BBQ sauce with onions, sandwiches, make a stew, cube it and cook it with peppers and tomatoes, make enchiladas.

    Italian Beef

    3-4 lbs. roast

    ½ tsp. onion salt
    ½ tsp. garlic salt
    ¾ tsp. Italian seasoning

Cook all ingredients in slow cooker for 24 hrs., and as meat cooks, break apart.

My SIL makes Roast Beef Salad (like chicken salad) with cooked, cooled roast beef. It's great!

The roast beef salad reminds me of a taco salad. I like to make them with shredded beef.

These were WONDERFUL. All 6 of us liked them, and it is very unusual for us all to like something. Thanks
