This response was a quote someone used in response to an article written about unschooling. I thought it was really a good point.
(I've always loved that quote, but ... playing devil's advocate on this one, since I've been on the other side of the fence before...) But the ark didn't hit anything and the Titanic had a long, arrogant guy in charge of the speed.
Exactly the point. The lone arrogant guy in charge of the speed was the owner of the White Star Lines. His "expertise" helped sink the Titanic. So much for being a know-it-all. Marty Sorry, I thought I'd "help" play devil's advocate. You can throw tomatoes if you want.
Another great quote. I am also always amazed by how people think are kids are getting socialized. HELLO! What about the public school social scene is beneficial?
