I've been posting a bit on our math search, but this is a new question so I thought I'd start another thread.
Anyway, my DS is liking the Time4Learning math, and I've just recently found Dream Box. It's a little cheaper that T4L, but I'm not sure if it really would be considered a full curriculum or not.
While I think I like them both, there is one aspect I'm concerned about. When we're away from home and have no internet connection he can't do his math. So, I am wondering if there is a cd-based curriculum that is also 'game' based that we could use instead (we use SOS for a few subjects now but the math is b-o-r-i-n-g to him), or if it'd just be better to use a math game for the days we aren't able to connect? I was looking at Math Blasters, but don't know how good it really it is... I don't want him to just play games without real math being taught, you know?
Anyway, I know this is probably a confusing post. I'm sorry and thanks if you've actually read the whole thing!!!

I just wish SOS would make a math like their Spanish -- then I'd have it made!

Not confusing at all! I so hear ya! If you're only going to be un-connected a few days at a time, here and there, I would think doing math games might be adequate. If it's going to be a week or more at a time kinda often - I've seen some Math Blasters games and they're not terrible! That might just do. Even if he's not learning "new" math skills every day, getting in some practice using what he already knows is a good thing.

We have to run a lot of errands for our business through the week, some weeks 3-4 days, some weeks only 1-2 days. And not all of those are days that we're gone the entire day, where he couldn't do his math later that afternoon. I just would love 1 thing we could use... but I guess it will be ok if I sub a couple of different games for math 1-2 a week?

I get a lot of worksheets from a website called math drills apparently I can't post a link, but it's not my site or anything. The site is math-drills dot com. They have a pretty wide selection. HTH!

I appreciate the suggestion, but we are looking for computer based programs... my son hates the pages now!!! LOL
Thank you though - and I did look at that site anyway, for future reference. They really do have a good bit of stuff! :)
