We are going to the Spider Pavillion!!!
    http://lam.mus.ca.us/site/explore-exhibits/special-exhibits/spider-pavilion

    WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

These are free spinning spiders. We get to walk through the garden and there will be spiders hanging around wherever they spun their web. :D
The toxic spiders and spiders who do not have webs will be in displays.

We are going to be in spider heaven.

lo ew ew ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! I hate spiders, well I am okay watching some through the window cause their webs are pretty but I think really like my blood cause they always bite me and I am really allergic to them so I get sick from it. Even a normal little dust spider can bite me! Lol I think I have a sign in spider on my skin that says ( T's Diner for Spiders and insects feed here" lol

I just read about this exhibit in a magazine... we are doing a mini preschool unit on spiders, and I have to tell you... my kids would love this, but mama would have a hard time, lol. Maybe we can get daddy to take them, hehe.

I hope you have a great time!

    Thanks!

If I remember correctly, you can get some information about spiders from the museums web page.

I'm jealous too!! I would LOVE to go to that! My boys would really like it. the girls might not be as pleased. I've been to a butterly pavillion in Denver and we all LOVED it. Didn't know they had spider pavillions.. Too cool! Wish is were closer to me. I would go too. Have fun.

I have great respect for spiders and try my best not to kill them (unless it really is a dangerous one). Last night, my younger daughter was freaking out because a daddy-long-legs had found its way into the kitchen, but I was not going to kill it. Spiders are among the most fascinating of creatures.
