Has anyone used Khan Academy to hs? My mom just send me a e-mail that stated, Bill Gates hs his kids and he used Khan Academy. It's free! I didn't have time to check it out yet. I have to get to work. But, I wanted to see what everyone thought about it?
I haven't, but I know a lot of people do. It's mostly math, but there are also some great ones for science.
I use it to supplement - I just wish they had more Singapore math up. Last I checked, they only had 3rd grade, but I can do 3rd grade math! I need the more complex 5-6th abstract stuff! For example, my ds is taking algebra, and they have longer, more involved video clips on it all. Nice.
Thank you for this link. I have never seen it before and think its great! I really think we can use it. My son is doing Chemistry (6/7th grade) so I have him set up to view the Intro to Atoms today. Thanks again....
I love using it when my kids need extra instruction. Sometimes hearing something a different way helps. It is a really great resource.
We tried this site today and the kids really seem to enjoy their math time. My dd posted that it was amazing on her facebook so we are going to continue using this. Thanks!
