For six years, I lived in Wales. A friend of mine from those days sent me a link to an interesting news article in the British press. Apparently, there has been a high instance of crime in local parking lots, often directed against women, so the local authorities came up with a novel idea: "women only" parking lots! Only women drivers and passengers are allowed, and even the parking lot attendants are women. Initial results show that the new policy is working and providing a comfortable and safe environment for women drivers. Bad idea, IMHO- it just puts all the targets in one spot for predators! I wouldn't park there ETA: Note to self-always click the link before posting.... I still stand behind my "I wouldn't park there" though
I posted the content of an email I received from a long-time friend - whose wife happens to be Welsh and an 'interesting' driver. He's a full-time evangelist so, if he says it's true, it must be! Mind you, he is a Brit and does have a wicked sense of humor - so I suppose there's a slight possibility that there's no such thing.
Haha this just makes me laugh because I am married to one and I hardly ever understand his "wicked sense of humor".
I didn't follow the link, but wouldn't that mean the women would have limit their passengers to only female persons?

Oh no, this has to be a total fraud! It is plain to see that only that kind of carnage (pun intended :lol could have been caused by an angry white male behind the wheel of an obviously overloaded semi in the parking lot of a WallyWorld on Black Friday! Oh the inhumanity....as she fans her face and prepares to faint onto the couch from the shock :wink:
