Thanks! I've also been looking all over for this. I got the iPod touch for an early Christmas present. A couple we really like that I didn't notice on the list are Stack the States and This Day in History. We're doing US Geography this year and stack the states is a very nicely done application.

We love the Stack the States app and the This Day in History one too. I surprised Stack the States wasn't listed. It is a fave for all of us!

Thanks so, much for this list. And the other posted suggestions. We use the Greek Gods, SBSpelling and MathBoard. Not just for iPhone. The iPod touch can access apps too (as Leissa mentioned) and the iPad WAS the most diverse. WAS is emphasized because Apple has upgraded their app store (just last night). The "app" realm just became accessible for my laptop... not sure if that includes PC users with an Apple account too. Curious about that? I think this is huge news home schooling.

I just found out that the maker of Stack the States now has Stack the Countries! I am so excited as we're doing world history next year.

Thought some of you might like to know. The latest software update on stack the states also added cities and landmarks to the trivia questions.
