Well we went over the ocean through the city and to the tree farm this week end and ended up cutting down a 16 foot tree that was all alone and need a home. So out came the saw and down came the tree. Now its up in our living room. We decide we are having a open house for Christmas this year. Alot of guys at my hubby's work been wanting to come over to see our house. What a better time right, to show off our tree. Any way I need some quick finger foods to have and cookies. Something for Christmas. Any ideas Ladies and Gentlemen

swedish meatballs, bread bowl with spinach dip, fruit tray, cheese tray, cheese ball and crackers, deep fried ravioli with marinara dipping sauce, stuffed mushrooms. Oh and that sounds like a whopper of a tree post some pics sometime. My goodness you must have high ceilings lol. That had to have been a struggle to stand up
wow How did I know I could count on you all. You all rock. thanks for the ideas, keep them coming. Might take some for the girls birthday parties...
No, it's not the best option for ANY party, but for some. There is no way I would hire a professional caterer for a casual party like this! Homeschoolers live on a TIGHT budget, and catering for simple stuff that we can easily do ourselves, especially if we can involve the kids and turn it into a learning experience, is not an option.
Kabas with summer sauge and cheese on a short skew. Or oranges, strawbarries, melon and apples dipped in carmal or cholete my spelling is bad and I am scarred to use the spell check on here.
