Apologia samples Too bad the CGC samples at the publisher's website can't be printed in full size. It would be good to be able to try it out before buying. The Apologia website has a sample chapter from each book, so you can try out a lesson. Just click on the book cover for whichever book you're interested in and select "Sample Module."
We LOVE CGC! I have found a ton of things on CurrClick to go with the lessons and we have done some neat lapbooks in addition to the notebooking. It is very fun and educational...coming from someone who dreaded teaching science! We will jump to Apologia later I am sure! It's painful. It's so bad that, even though my dd11 is musically gifted and learns easily when music is involved, we have not used the CD since the first song. I'd go as far as to call it torture for anyone who isn't tone deaf. I am going to look into Apologia after everyone's comparisons. We love the way CGC is working for dd11 right now, but I'll definitely keep Apologia in mind in the future.
