    Hi,
Started Homeschooling my 12 year old daughter in November and so far things are going okay. Still collecting info to make sure I am doing this the right way. We are using the Switched On School House curriculum and she likes it. At this time I am looking for info on how to start keeping/making transcripts that can count towards college. Any info is greatly appreciated. Also, any homeschooling suggestions are appreciated. Thank You! Sandy:love:

    homeschool project

    Hello~
I am a homeschool mom to 6 in Southern California. We are getting ready to start a 50 state unit and are looking for help from fellow homeschool families. We don't have anyone from Mass yet and are hoping you would like to help us.

How yu can help~we are looking to receive s family picture (to put on our large US map) a post card and something special/unique from your state/area. Such as candy, flower, seeds. Rock, recipe~anything that represents your state. If you are interested please email me at vanbreemenmom@gmail.com

We will personally respond to each family with a letter, picture and something from So California.

    Thank you. For your help!

    Welcome!

There's no one right way, I think, so you can ease off yourself :)

We are fairly new as well, and I'm constantly questioning WHY I'm teaching xyz now.. and then I think wait... I don't have to LOL. It's HOMESCHOOL. And the kids are learning far more, far faster than they would in ps, so that's the important thing in all this.

My kids are younger than yours, so no help on the transcripts. My best advice, from my own trenches, is to accomodate your dd's learning style as much as you possibly can. It makes teaching my own kids far more successful for all of us- and far less frustrating.
