I am from southeast Iowa and looking for anyone else in the area who might know about a homeschool group in our part of the state. I am excited to find a forum like this to get new ideas and meet other homeschool families. My husband and I homeschool our 7 children who are ages 14 - 3 years old.
Hello, SE Iowa! Our family lives near Des Moines but we've worked with the state homeschool group for several years. You can search for the Network of Iowa Christian Home Educators online (I'm too new to post links) and they have a support group tab that lets you request information about groups in your area. All your personal information is kept private. Welcome to Iowa! Our family moved here in 1990 and our children now call this home. We just graduated our youngest this year. Lots of Iowa homeschoolers are here to help you get acclimated.
