we use our living room right now, I have a folding table that both girls can sit at (it also doubles as my sewing table!). Mostly I have the younger one sit at the table and my older sits in the rocker recliner with her feet propped up. She thinks she is so cool...
I tried to have both sit at the table, but that did not work, they just annoyed each other. I have a bar stool table which seems to give my dd 13 a back ache.

I would love a room just to do school in.... as it is I have stuff scattered all over the living room.

For now, my kids have separate school set-ups. My pre-teen son converted half of his bedroom into a "school lounge" complete with sofa, school-only computer, bookshelves, etc. (he has a large room).

We converted one of our guest rooms into a school room for DS8. But we usually only start there and end up all over the house. In fact, DS8 prefers to read in his bedroom because he brought his old motorized jeep upstairs to his room, threw in some pillows and uses it for his reading spot!

We are also using the dining room right now, but should be moving out of the apartment soon into a rental house. Then I hope to use the basement. Right now we work in the dining room, but our bookcases are all over the place. It would be so nice to have everything organized and in one place again. My fingers are crossed!

We have a school room, but we're absolutely never in it! LOL :) The kids do their math on the computers down there, etc. LOL!!!

we've spread out all over the house lately. But...that's the beauty of homeschooling, right???

We also use our kithcen/dining room table. Ocassionally we do somethings in our living room or I might read to dd in her or our bedroom just for something different. In the nice weather dd likes to do some of her work on our back deck...much too cold and snowy now.

We use our kitchen table which is actually just accross the counter from the kitchen. We have a cabinet that we keep everyday stuff in and a white board, map, and corkboard. Extra books and stuff are kept in the basement. It is working well for us now. My ds would like to have a dedicated room in the basement, but that would take a lot of work to complete. But maybe someday we'll have a dedicated room.

    Kitchen table too!:D
I also have an in-home daycare and we all start out at the table doing different/age level projects. Then during naptime Delaney and I finish at the table and use the computer which is in the kitchen too. I have a fold up board that I use for circle time, calendar, weather, etc etc etc. It is up during the week and I put it down on the weekend or when we have company. I can also move it to the livingroom if we decide to squat down in there too! I am on the hunt for a shelving unit with doors so I can store all my teaching things in there as it is currently taking over the kitchen area!!! DH is NOT a fan of the school looking dining table! I am not a fan of pile of things! So......currently looking.
