My 2nd son is the only "real" fan, but he also doesn't watch the game.

Meatballs are another idea, we had them lastnight. Just throw them in a crockpot with stock.

Can you make zucchini bread? Or, maybe find a recipe to make a bread with the applesauce? Do you have tortillas? They could maybe make a roll up with cream cheese and the lobster? Lobster salad sandwiches made like tuna salad? I don't know, just trying to think of things.

I also noticed I had several boxes of cornbread mix. I'm going to make cornbread salad and add the lobster. Yummo! :) Thanks for the ideas....if I get really ambitious, I'll make some sort of bread, too.

Yes hubby works for GoDaddy. :) It's probably the best job he's had since we've been together! As you know the benefits are AMAZING, and the moral is high. :)

Hubby's only complaint is that this time of year it's tough to get time off, but the overtime is good in the paycheck :)

Yes....we miss the random cash giveaway days! LOL :) Hubby came home one day with $500 cash after some pep meeting thing!

That and the Christmas Party - whew - He practically threw money into the crowd! LOL :)

Of course, they were probably a lot smaller 5 years ago...company's grown so exponentially since that first Superbowl ad! LOL :)

Hubby is sad to no longer be there. It took him a while before he really liked the job he was in, but once he did, he hated leaving (we moved back to PA which is why he left).

Certainly a good company to work for. :)

    Absolutely!

I buy premade crusts - there's a place around here that sells really thin crust ones so that's what we use - you could use any one you liked or make your own. Just bake it first (if you amke your own) for a bit so the end product is really crispy.

We top the pizza in the following way:

Ranch dressing (enough to cover the top in a thin layer, not too soupy though)
Sprinkle top with italian seasoning (the one that's a mix of oregano, basil, parsley, etc)
Diced, cubed, cooked chicken sprinkled over top
Cover chicken with shredded monterey jack cheese
    Dice tomatoes
    diced red onion
crumbled bacon pieces (use as much as YOU like)

Bake at 425 until the cheese is bubbly! YUMMY!!!

Yes hubby is very happy there! Unfortunately hubby missed the Christmas party, but Bob made it well worth it in the end. From what I understand the party made national news, considering that he rented out the entirety of Chase Field (our baseball stadium). The random cash giveaways are now a little more organized, and you have to spin a wheel to win anything. From what I understand they are the largest company of their kind (in terms of how much business they do), and that it would take roughly their 8 closest competitors combined to equal what he does in one year. Working there is probably the only advantage to living here in AZ LOL!

It's the BIG day, and being from WI I guess I have to finally jump in here.

Gs and I are going to try to find it live-streamed so we can watch it. I've made it a big celebration day for us - after all, it's been a long time since the Pack went to the Super Bowl! As a kid I sat and watched them in the Super Bowl games back when Bart Starr and Ray Nitschke and of course, Vince Lombardi. Here in WI they're saying this team could rival them! Here's a paragraph about the 60's team:

"Those attributes were mostly a myth, merely working ideas to come as close to those goals as possible. Yet, what happened to a football team during the 60’s, nearly reaching every ideal stated above, was no myth. It was for real, and it turned into the most legendary team in professional football history."

Now, back to 2011 and SuperBowl XLV...

We have sub-type sandwiches for lunch with olives for a treat
For the game we have brats (traditional WI fare) and chips and soda - a very rare treat for us!

Nothing too special, but special for us! :)
