I have been reading posts here for a couple of weeks, but decided it was time I introduce myself. I'm Kristi, wife to Heath for 11 years, and mother to four wonder full kids, dd 8, dd 5, and 2 y/o b/g twins. We live in Oklahoma. We began homeschooling in November and love it . I'm still trying to figure out exactly what style of homeschooling we fit in to. I guess we might be a mix of a couple.
Hiya! Welcome to the Spot!!! I think everyone here is pretty much eclectic (or how ever it's spelled!) and I look forward to getting to know you better. . I think I'm the only one here who isn't a HS parent, but an unofficial aide to a (old fashioned) HS mom. I teach kids how to another womans kids how to read and help with math and any other tutoring. I'm also the Spanish teacher simply because I'm the most competent Spanish speaker.
Hi Kristi. I am just preparing to begin HS this summer and, like you, I'm not quite sure which type I am nor do I know exactly which curricula to use. I'm learning as I go and welcome ANY suggestions!

Glad to have you We just started in January and are loving it No-one really seems to be a solid schooling type from what I've seen. That's the beauty! You tweak everything to the best overall fit for your child. I've seen huge changes in my DD since we started.
