Does anyone use Voyages in English?

If so, how do you feel about the writing program? My dd8 is completing 3rd grade this year and we used VOE for 2nd grade and liked it and I'm trying to decide if I want to use it for 4th. Currently, I feel like she is a little behind in the writing department. In fact, any suggestions on a good spelling program would also be great. And if anyone has a writing program that they think is useful for a child that's a reluctant writer, I'm all ears! Thanks!

Hi There, we used VOE for a year and it was decent. The next year we switched the Exercises in English which is a grammar workbook by the same company. Our kids enjoyed it more, it was decent for grammar, but did not have a writing section. For writing we are using Writing Strands now and are loving it.

Spelling workout is a decent spelling program, they have leveled books so you can start wherever your kids are ready to start with and go from there.

We really like writing strands. Our kids find the writing lessons interesting and fun, so they are motivated to do it and we use it to reinforce their grammar lessons and penmanship. What I really like about it is the variety of writing. The kids get exposure to a lot of diferent styles of writing in a creative way.
