If anyone uses either of these what do you think of them? We're leaning towards a Reason for Handwriting, but not sure yet.
I used A Reason For Handwriting and loved it. It is simple to instruct, is consistent in its daily format and my children loved that they could color on Friday. ( : I haven't used Hand Writing without Tears but hear only positive remarks.
my vote would be for AR4HW too. I use with my youngest and middle. Concise lessons. Not overwhelming at all. I also like that the teacher book is for all grades, so all I have to buy each year now are the workbooks.
We use A Reason for Handwritting and I really like it. They used HWOT in the ps K class dd was in but it just confused her since it only used two lines and all the practice stuff we used at home had 3. I talked to the teacher to make sure it was ok that I kept practcing with the 3 lines and she was fine with that. We started using A Reason for Handwritting the following year and dd loves it.
