Sigh. I thought for a bit that I would be done with Home schooling this year, I nearly cried at the thought that ds would go to 9th out like big brother did.
ALas! I am so excited that dh decided we could not do college and high school tuition! (PUBLIC SCHOOLS HERE ARE NOT AN OPTION TO US)
So after looking through what we used for dd for 9th grade. And deciding what would work and what would not of what we already have.
We are doing SOS for Scicence, Spanish and Civics.
Alpa Omega ( already had the teacher books so it was best cost efficiency) LifePaks for Language Arts and History/Geography
MUS for math. Geometry may be a class room setting with other home schooling kid
    Band- Class
PE-- Class with private school in exchange for helping with math for home schoolers. or FALL BALL again.

    what am I missing? Anything?
oh! I also have a civics type of drive through history dvd set its a special edition at cbd if you want to check it out.

I haven't seen the Language Arts you're using but as long as there is writing assignments and some literature analysis, it looks great to me!

Sounds like you have it figured out. Good job! I am still trying to plan 8th grade for Emily since she changed her mind about going back to public school. So far the only thing I am sure about it math. Sigh!

I know its hard when you had one idea set to send them out and then regroup, remind yourself what you did with the older ones at this age. Dd went home school all the way to her senior year. Thats when we sent her to our church's school run by a home school parent/pastor. Now I know ds would love to go there and maybe the following year we will send him there. That is where we will be doing math, band and Pe so that he gets the best of both worlds, group activites where it will help and then he gets the home schooling or the detailed teaching part!
    YEAH!
With ours my dd helped me with what worked for her, the Life Pak for English and H/G worked for her MUS is working for ds, he is enjoying his math way better than the other two and can actually understand his algebra! So geometry next year will be a breeze!
One of our pastors kids will be his grade level for math so thats why we will have to do the in class room math it will be better for them.
I may see if I can invite other home schoolers for the video portion then let them each get thier own practice sheet material from the site. Then they can work together on some of it with the blocks we made... unless the school wants to pop for the real ones haha!

I received my books for my DS. He will be nineth grade next year. DH wants him to go to public school but so far we have talked him out of making him go to PS. I'm just going to take one year at a time with DH and hope the Lord leads him to stay with the HSing.
    But for your news CONGRATS!
