A good response to those who think homeschooling will "damage" a child: "Abe Lincoln, Thomas Edison, and Albert Einstein were all homeschooled, and THEY turned out okay. I think my child is in good company!" LOL!
Two families in our homeschool group recently sent their kids to public school.. The kids ALL were top of their class this year. One graduated 8th grade and was valadictorian (sp??) of his class and had to give a speach at the ceremony!! His brother was one of few kids who were commended on their testing scores. The other families 9th grader also was valadictorian of his class. ALL the kids are VERY social and wonderful to be around.. BTW the 9th grader had NEVER been in public school before..
