Hi im new here just found this place. I have a 13 yr dd that we have always homeschooled till we moved to a new town that was suppose to have a great school system. She can read anything but has great problems with math. We thought they could help. At first they where very helpful but half way through the year my mother passed away and I lost my focus and didnt stay on them like I was. Well she has gone through a year of public school and her math skills are no better :cry: . We are going back to homeschooling her . I wish I had known about this site before. I have been reading post for a few days and I think maybe this is the place to be for help and sugestions. Far warning my typing skills are not good please over look miss spellings. No good with computers .
Welcome! I am new here as well! (Also new to homeschooling!) My daughter is 13, too, and will be entering 9th grade! I am sure we will compare some notes from time to time!
