Hello, fellow hs'ers!!! I have taken the plunge! I will be homeschooling my ds8 and dd13 for 3rd and 9th grades next year! This confirms what many have known about me all along....evidently, I have lost my mind! But, odd as it seems, I have never felt more peaceful. To tell the truth, I felt the Lord leading me to hs when my daughter was about 9 months old, and I guess I have been fighting and compromising ever since. We have been in wonderful Christian schools and this past year, a ps. Now we are coming home!!! I am sure I will have lots of questions, and I look forward to getting to know you all! I will be sharing the curriculum I've already chosen and asking for input/advice/tips over in the general hs forum! Thanks!
Welcome Emily! We will be homeschooling our youngest daughter again this year. It will be our 6th year and she will be in 8th grade. Our other homeschooled daughter is finished now after being homeschooled for 5 years. Our other five (three boys and twin girls) went to public schools. Glad you have joined us. Beth
