I have been waiting so long to be able to say this.... Bobby will be home soon! For those who don't know, Bobby is our youngest son who is in the Army and stationed in WA at Fort Lewis. He and Jennifer will be flying in at the end of the month and I can hardly stand the wait. Funny how I was okay about it until he told me they have the tickets and now it seems like time is dragging! He is very excited too. Can't wait to get to NC he said. Some of you know they thought they were expecting recently. I don't know what actually happened, but they are not pregnant. If she lost a baby, Bobby didn't tell me. Maybe it was nothing and they both just got anxious and excited, but they sure got my hopes up for a little red-headed grand. I am not worried. They are very young and have plenty of time for babies. Right now they need time together to really become a couple before babies come along. They have only been married since Dec. Bobby is planning to re-enlist in the Army and thinks he may be deployed again in the next year. I have made up my mind to not think about that too much right now. With so much going on I just can't deal with that worry too. Freddy is facing eye surgery and his sister is so very sick right now. I just plan to enjoy our two weeks with Bobby and not think about where he may be sent next. I have to get busy and have everything ready before he comes home. He will be wanting chicken pie for sure and lots of other favorites. Just wanted to share my news. Thanks for listening. Beth
Wow, Beth I am so excited for you all. I bet you are excited to see him again. Just have fun and try not to worry I know its easier said then done.
Oh, man, I'm crying....and laughing in spite of myself. So happy for you! Enjoy your time with them. Your posts about Bobby always remind me to make the most of the days I have here with my future soldier....who incidentally is planning on joining Army now instead of Marines. We'll all be thinking of you!
I'm so excited for you!! Have a wonderful time with them ( I'm sure you will) and you all will be in my thoughts!!
Happy homecomming to your son. Who knows maybe in 9 months you will have your granddaughter or grandson. Here in the Navy life the wives always seem to have their children nine months after the ship deploys or nine months after the return of a ship.
