Just one kid here. He is 6 and so far our plan is to only have him. However, neither dh nor I are ready to make any "permanent" decisions to make him our only as we are in our early 30s, who knows how we will feel in a few years.

There are 11 yrs between my first and second kids. Only 21 months between middle and youngest. Which means that at one time, I had one going through puberty, one in the terrible two's, and a colicky newborn all at once. Yeah, the prozac was flowing! They're alot more fun at 21,10, and 8.

My oldest is 6, and my second is 3. I really like the 3 year age gap. ;)

    Leissa, you crack me up!

My kids are 1 week shy of exactly 3 years apart. We used natural child spacing, but then decided to surgically insure we would only have two children after dd was born. I also have enjoyed the three year gap between ds15 and dd12.

    Our oldest son is 38
    Twin girls are 34
Sons three weeks apart are both 21
    Daughter 18
    Daughter just turned 13
The four youngest are adopted in case anyone wondered about the three week age difference in the last two boys.

There are two years and two weeks between our older two, and one year and 49 weeks between our younger two (yep, three kids in four years).

My boys are 3 years 4 months apart and I thought it was a pretty good age gap. My oldest was old enough to be helpful and young enough were they both can play together (7 and almost 4).

This made me think of a neighbor who had to explan how she had 2 kids 6 months apart. The funny thing is, they looked like biological siblings. In their case, they had started the adoption process, and after finding out they were going to be adopting a newborn after the mom had it, she got pregnant (had been trying for years with nothing). So, she adopted a baby and 3 months later had her baby:shock:.

My two are 21 months apart. I like how close they are! It meant once we were done with a stage, we were done for good. Sure having two in diapers was a pain, but then I got to put them away forever. And they played together a lot (still do, actually).

    dd1 and ds1 are 19 months
    ds1 and dd2 are 29 months
    dd2 and ds2 - 33 months (but he's in Heaven)
    ds2 and dd3- 12 months (so dd2 and dd3 are 45 months apart)

After this year's cycle of birthdays, they will be 9,7,5,1.
