I know there are lots of other bloggers out there. I love blog bouncing, so post your blog here and tell us what you write about. I'll start. My passion is children's lit, especially MG/YA. http://www.michelleisenhoff.wordpress.com
Hi I have a homeschool, family, free resource blog. And we are having some giveaways open to Canadians for a blog bash soon Sorry I can only make it open to Canadians at the moment as that was a stipulation of the blog bash. I will likely try to have more in the future though that are open to all. www.adventurehollow.blogspot.com
Wow, I always think Michigan is "up north" till I meet someone from Canada. Your spring pics looked COLD! Fun end-of-homeschool party! We celebrated with a "field trip" to Yellowstone.
I blog about homeschool, public school, and what we do here in New York City. Check it out! CITYSCHOOLING
my blog is 2kidsandamess.blogspot.com I blog about everything but will mainly blog about hs'ing once school starts again and the struggles of homeschooling with an infant
Wow, NY City mom, we live extremely different! I have a cornfield in my backyard. Carrianne, kudos for managing homeschool with a baby. And you're ready for next year! I've barely started. What with a big vacation this year the day after school ended, then VBS, my summer is slipping away. I love checking out everyone's blogs! (Love5c, you didn't include yours.)
Carianne I love the name of your blog. Mine should be called 3kidsandamess My homeschool blog is http://eclectic-homeschool.blogspot.com/
Controversial, I know, but we live in an age when 'cultural Christianity' has hijacked the Christian faith and become extreme and intolerant. Some topics are taboo, and we face accusations and are called all kinds of names (it boggles my mind, actually) for questioning some of the ideas pushed around today, which frustrates me no end. Rather than cause contention, I mostly keep quiet in church - even though I must bite my tongue hard sometimes. On the other hand, I refuse to be bullied, especially by those who try to make science an enemy. My outlet (and new year's resolution) is my Christian blog. Since it's largely anonymous, I can suggest, challenge, and explain matters without it causing undue consternation. Of course I expect people to disagree with me on some things - that's healthy and right - but at least the dialog, being in writing, tends to be more civil and respectful. Frankly, I've been surprised at the number of monthly hits and unique visitors the blog is getting.
My blogs are linked below - the familyd.50megs.com is my homeschool blog about what we do, educationally, how we got started, articles on different resources, a links page of my fave links, and a page of free lesson plans and checklists!
Cornish Steve, I understand completely. I have a second blog (which I haven't been maintaining recently) in which I do much the same thing. Early on, I split into two blogs, one for my literature and an anonymous one where I talk about faith, family and homeschooling. I had one fella who wasn't too civil, so to protect my kids, I took that one underground.
Here's my blog, Day by Day Discoveries. It's been slow for awhile but I'm starting to blog again. I've had it for 5 years now.
Thats one reason I got it done so soon, I figure then I have the rest of the summer to make lesson plans from her books plus we do have a lot going on starting next week such as 2 VBS's next week (one in the a.m one in the p.m) soccer starts in 2 weekends plus we have fun things scheduled and field trips
