    Hi ya'll,

Maybe I need to start back at the introductions forum..ROFL:p because I probably don't know anybody...

but a long time ago (back in the dark ages..lol..ok..not so dark) I was one of the original members here.

I had try to promise I would visit often but now realize I was needed elsewhere. It was my "calling"..

However, I have a special place in my heart for this group and WOW has it grown....

Wanted to say a "howdy hello" to those I know and send out "nice to meet you" to those I don't

    Hugs

Of course you do!!! :) I don't think I was part of the originals, but I came pretty soon after - I remember you. Of course, I lived in AZ when I started - so....life's changed quite a bit! :)

    How are you????

    Hi Krista,

Welllllll I do remember you...lol...I hear ya' about life changing!....

Doing great..I was reminiscing about some of my struggles and FUN in my earlier homeschooling journey and of course I thought I can't lose touch here...ABC Teach and then Amanda bringing us here after it shut down the forum was just the best thing...

Since my last visit, I went ahead and wrote the program for our new homeschoolers (by the way no plug here..not my style) just I LOVE helping new homeschoolers and realized it was my "calling".

I have updated/changed/revised that program over the last two years and just am at a point in my homeschooling journey that I am IN LOVE with homeschooling..lol

Helping new homeschoolers on a daily basis and speaking at our Houston Homeschool Convention has been a huge blessing in my life.

Tre is 16 now and now high school, full blown testosterone packing hormones and Trever at 14 is right behind him....My "baby" is now 11 yo...

Did I mention Tre is "attempting" to drive so I may be on "blood pressure" medicine from the claw marks on the car....

WOW this group is HUGE.....so good to see homeschooling growing!!

Good to see you back!! I'm from the dark ages too.
Its really good to see some of us coming back and checking in, life does get in the way and sometimes you can post and sometimes you can only lurk for a bit.

Wow, your boys have grown. I hear you about the permit..my oldest dd has hers and is getting in her driving hours before she can get her license..they can't grow up yet!
My youngest is almost 14 and she doing great.

I remember you and Sheila (She) always would post together..is she still working with you on the website?

Well its great to see you and thanks for updating us about your website , yourself and your kids!!

I pop in from time to time but this place tends to get lost in the shuffle of my day to day life! Since I first joined here, my family has grown by 4 - grands - and that keeps things very busy! We are still "hsing" and I'm using quotes because last year and maybe this next year we went with k12. Joyce is going to be 16 this week!!

I'm relatively new, so nice to meet ya!

I think sometimes we have to step back and take care of other things for awhile- it's to the good though! Much as I love my online conversations, my RL has to come first.

Glad to see that you are helping new homeschoolers! It's definitely tough when you are first beginning.

Wow...I see if that I don't come back quickly.....these messages go fast..

    Randa, Jennifer, KrisRV and Meghan..

Thank you for the warm welcome back....I remember you too Randa and Kris I am still around.....

Was just following my heart...but do think things have slowed down to a manageable crawl...I had many things I wanted to do while I was still homeschooling and even though I will still be hsing for a while because of my youngest I had goals *I* wanted to meet as well before my first graduates in a couple of years..

I AGREE--where does the time go?

Anyway, I enjoy this place and perhaps can add a bit of help here and there...

    Hugs to you all,
