I don't know that one but I use/d this one with my elementary age kids (grades 1-6) http://www.amazon.com/How-Teach-Art-Children-Grades/dp/1557998116/ref=pd_sim_b_10#_ I also like Meet the Masters Art (history and instruction). Homeschool Buyers Co-Op has this 50% off until the weekend if you're interested.
Hey... I have not seen or used that curriculum. However, Drawing With Children is a great book to start with (you can usually borrow it from the library) and is step by step cool approach to art. The pictures and activities are fun, my kids still use the warm ups for independent fun. Also Artistic Pursuits is great, we used the first book and loved the projects. Are you the family from Maine too? I can't check the other post without losing this one, but I feel you might be- Just wondering... Good Luck. -jb
Not the art book, but we stumbled on Mike's Inspiration Station DVDs at our library. The kids love them. Ds wants to use these for art class next school year.
