Ok my next question is regarding science curriculum. I'm switching to mostly Catholic curriculum this year, but so far am not sure if the science part of Seton or Catholic Heritage Curriculum will work for us. I have a kiddo that is very interested in astronomy. I would really like a curriculum heavy in that this year. I think I saw the Apologia offers one that is, but I've looked around so much I'm confused. We've always played it safe and mostly done Abeka throughout the years so I'm a little overwhelmed by all the curriculum choices! Any suggestions please! Definitely want to stick to a science that is Christian based tho. Thank you
I would highly recommend the Apologia Astronomy. It is a very good program. We did it for 2nd grade last year but we did not do all the experiments, but they would be good for an older student. I think their new notebooking journal has a lot of really indepth questions for older kids. We are keeping the book around so that dd can go through it again when she is older.
Apologia I also would highly recommend Apologia Astronomy! My DS loved that when we did it his 5th grade year. He is going into 6th now and I still catch him rereading it for fun.
