I see on some of the other threads that some of you are planning to teach Civics this year. Could you please share with me what you are planning to use?I'm open to all ideas, but especially interested in hearing about books that are not textbooks. But please tell me what you'll be using. My 16 year old is very interested but I don't know what to use. Thanks.

When we get to that, I'm going to use the Civics course from Christian Liberty, The Land of Fair Play, and The Story of the Constitution. It's meant for 8th graders, but I think with the Federalist Papers and such, it'll be fine for high schoolers as well.

For our Governement course we used Bluestocking Press Guide: Justice along with Whatever Happened to Justice, Are you Liberal, Conservative or Confused?, and Ancient Rome.

We are using Civics paces through ACE. Love them and they are not to expensive.
