On my dd (2nd grade)'s list for this coming year are dinosaurs. There are some great documentaries on netflix I plan to have her watch. We have some decent books as well. Just wondering if anyone has some free online resources they'd like to share? Would love both printable stuff (coloring pages, etc) and actual text I can tweak to make a 'lecture'.
Go to http://www.learningpage.com/ and register, it's free. Then go to the themed pages and click on the dinosaur tab there is alot of stuff there. You can download the entire unit in pdf format.

Hi we did dinos last year so here are a couple links we found helpful http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=...:en-ca:IE-SearchBox&rlz=1I7ADBS_en&tbs=isch:1 http://www.first-school.ws/THEME/animals/cp_dinosarus_alphabet.htm#flashcards
I don't have a suggestions for online resources but I want to share what we did for our Dinosaurs unit. I bought some sticker books with all kinds of different dinosaurs in it. I also found two of those wooden puzzles (dino shaped) for the kids to put together.
It can be hard to find accurate information on dinosaurs when it comes to childrens books. Try "What Really Happened to the Dinosaurs?" for a picture book and if you go online Answers in Genesis has some great books.
