ebay help

I won my bid on ebay... I have not paid for it and she already mailed it... but guess what... it is to the wrong address

what do I do, my aunt is sending me the stuff I need, but I won my bid ... so I need to pay for it, but now it is being mailed to the wrong address...

now what do I do... I just checked ebay, things have been so busy around here thiss week with school I completely forgot! and ebay uses an email address that I don't ck all the time....

I have no idea what is going to happen... I dont even buy for them very much... uhhhh now what?

 

Where did they send it to?

 

my old freer address.... I am wondering since we are a small town, than I can call them and maybe tell them and they can do something about it... I just don't know

 

Did you put in a forwarding address? If not, I'd call the P.O. to see what they can do.

 

I would call them and see if they can forward the item. You are stuck paying for the item unless you want bad feedback. :/

 

contact the seller first. most of them are nice and will try to work out a solution, especially b/c they are out the item and the money now too. if there was a forwarding address your item will probably get to you eventually.

I think you should go ahead a pay for the item though, it was silly of them to send it w/o payment but if you have good feedback, i can understand the logic... so since you not updating your info is the cause of the mix up, it's ultimatly your fault and you should pay for the item even if you never get it.

 

i looked at my ebay and on my profile it has my right address, but with the payment confirmation it only has my old one, I did change it but since it was already mailed I am going to call the po.

I was finally able to pay it this morning... I do not know why ebay/paypal was have trouble last night.

I just can't believe that she sent it with out me paying for it! kinda crazy but at least it has a tracking number so if it gets lost I can tell the PO it.

 

It's also possible that she printed the mailing label and hadn't put it in the mail yet...unless your tracking number says otherwise. So in that case, contacting her would be beneficial.

 

I contacted her and the post office. The post master told me she would be on the look out for it ( we are a small town, so they remember everyone's po box numbers... ) and put it in my box. the tracking number says that it is in the office... so we will see.
