Can I brag? My oldest (age 18) has been homeschooled since 1st grade. He spent this past summer studying for the MCATs which are the medical school admission tests. He got his scores back yesterday and he got a great score (32 for those of you familiar with the test). That and his 4.0 GPA give him an excellent chance of getting into a med school. We're very proud of him! And to top it off, the test also includes a writing section. It's not nearly as important as the other sections, but they give you a letter score from J to T. And my boy... the fellow that despised writing and gave me fits for years and years of homeschooling... received a T! That's the highest score possible on the writing section. That places him in the top 99.5-99.9 percentile! Blown away by that. He done good.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know you are very proud of him. Hopefully that will translate into some SERIOUS scholarship money!!!
