Woke up to find the dog peed on the carpet and the foot of my globe. and to see the cat fell in the toilet. There are cat prints IN the toilet bowl. If this is an indication of how my day is going to go, I'm going back to bed.
I'm sorry- I deal with the dog pee frequently here as well, and that alone is enough to make me furious. But I had to laugh at your cat... seriously fell in the toilet?? How the heck did he/she manage that??
She just started teetering on the toilet seat for some reason so we made it a rule to keep the lid closed. Someone forgot. Thank goodness we got her outside so she wouldn't drip everywhere. Sprayed her off with the hose. Yeah, I hate it when the dog pees. He takes meds for a heart condition so we limit his water in the evening, let him out late and get up early to let him out, but still this happened. Grrr....
Yep, that's about how my day started too... Dd dropped a whole brand new gallon of milk and it busted all over the kitchen floor. She is just standing there crying while the milk is going under all the appliances.. Totally accident.. Told her "no sense crying over spilled milk" lol.. But that was AFTER I blew up because I have to move everything out and clean to get the milk out.. UGH!! I know, bad mommy
Tell me about it! Carl came home from school around 9 AM. He was off sick yesterday, but was feeling better. I guess he got into it with a student, sent her to the office, the principal sent her back, he sent for the principal, and the principal basically wouldn't back him up. So he said he still wasn't feeling good and came home. He's called in sick for tomorrow, and is taking a personal day on Friday. He's stressed out at school, we're both stressed out with church (long story!), and I'm even stressed out with Faythe and Phillip's school. BUT on the GOOD SIDE I discovered that I have enough little squares to go around the outside of the quilt I'm making!!! I've got a bunch of little squares made of two half-square triangles. I thought I was going to have to make a bunch more, but turns out I actually have about four too many! That was a bright point!
Our water cooler broke...... we have to use bottled water in the 5 gallon jugs, the cold handle just broke off......... thats about $125 for a new one.
Oh, DAWN!!! (Amy, I made my dh take me to Chipotles for luch without kids. A bit more expensive than Starbucks, but....)
Not today, but yesterday....I was in the garage sorting laundry (washer & dryer are in the garage) when I felt a drop of water hit me. I look up and water is dripping from the ceiling....DS was in the shower, so I ran upstairs to make him get out. I can't even imagine what it's going to cost to fix it, and we definitely don't have it to spend right now. Thankfully, we have another shower. We'll just have to plan well to make sure all 6 of us can get in it and ready on time!
I think we all have had those kind of mornings. I stepped in cat puke one morning. That was fun! UHHH not!
My 7 year old says that when the cat is puking, she's doing the "chicken dance". That cracks me up. I think the cat overeats and that's why she barfs. I try to keep less in the bowl, but the kids go by her bowl and think she's "out" of food and pile it on. Sheeze! One more thing I have to keep checking on! :-
