Hi our association finally sees the merit in raising some funds so we can go on more further abroad field trips We live in a community that is several hours from another major city so it is needed. Anyway I am coming to you for cheap, easy, beautiful crafting ideas. We hope to have a craft fundraiser before the holidays based on donations from our members families. So the more ideas the better.

melt and pour soaps, and candles, could be combined in a gift set with washcloths (embroidered if someone is skilled), and other bath related items. Simple Pajama Pants for children are great. Home made bath salts, mixes in a jar, handpainted ornaments, crochet or knit shawls, simple fleece lap blankets, tea or coffee giftsets (tea mixes in a jar, mugs, cute napkins or spoons, even a pretty painted teapot), Crayon Rolls (google that one), Find it pillows for little ones (google patterns), Carseat ponchos, calendars (use beautiful photos and have them done up at walgreens or similar place), Painted signs, keyholders, and other decorations.
if you have any sewing experience you can easily make these coin purses. very cheap, and you can get zipper online for 50 cents each! http://catsgiggle.com/?page_id=196 They make cute gift ideas!
you can also make "Moose" Mix It is a mixture of Chex ceareal, Kitts, golden grams, m&m's, peanuts.... mix it together.... and coat with white chocolate.... very yummy and one batch makes tons! I can't seem to find a recipe on line, but will look for one!
I don't think anyone mentioned chocolate-covered pretzel sticks. Very easy to do! Melt chocolate, dip the pretzel sticks in about half-way up, and then set them on wax paper to dry. You can roll them (before the chocolate hardens) in crushed nuts, crushed peppermint candies, sprinkles. You can dunk them in caramel before the chocolate, or drizzle them with white chocolate over the regular. Be creative, and it's easy enough for the kids to do it.
Well I'd definately see if you have any Barefoot Books ambassadors in your area. They sell great and you could probably work out something where you can get 10% of sales or charge a table fee. They would probably go for that super quick. I know there are quite a few ambassadors up there in canada. Just a suggestion
Our Girl Scout troop made bookmarks. We took lamination sheets and put beautiful leaves we collected in them. Then ran them through a laminator. After we punched wholes in the top to attach ribbon!!! They turned out great!
beaded bookmarks are a nice gifty item! You can get shephards hook findings from ebay or any online beads store (ebay is probably cheapest) then use any bracelet making materials and some charms to make a dangle. I sell these at my store for $5 and they are popular!
