DH is on his way to Little Rock to find a house. He has until Thursday. A few things to pray for, if you're so inclined:
    - He finds it quickly (more importantly, by Thursday)
    - Location, location, location (there is a lot to this one, backstory and all, but I'll leave it at this)
    - They allow the dog(s). I'd be totally lost without at least one of them. Both would be ideal, since we aren't interested in rehoming, but we'll play with the deck we get
    - It has an extra room. I want either an extra bedroom, second living room, finished basement, gameroom, something. I feel very strongly about this one.
    - The neighbors are good people; children would be nice, too.

DH signed a lease tonight. It's not perfect, but it's plenty good enough.

Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, HUGE laundry room. There is an outbuilding in back that is split; half a finished room, the other half a workshop. It even has heat/ac! I'm considering making the finished side my "study." Then I can run away to do homework. lol.

The yard is absolutely enormous. I mean, I've got a huge yard now, the envy of all my friends. But this one is ridiculous!

DH's favorite part is that he can see his store from the back door. A fact that will haunt his employees, I'm sure.

Glad you found something that will work out well for you, and so quickly. Congrats on the secret hideout. Do the canine kids get to go too? I know that was a concern.

Yes!!!! They do. We had to pay a pet deposit, but that's it! Here we had to pay a deposit ($250 per pet, every time we got a new pet... cat died, got a new cat, had to pay another deposit... etc, etc, etc.) plus we pay $25 per pet per month in pet rent. The new landlord only had us pay $200 total (for two dogs) and no pet rent. He even knows what a whippet is! lol

My sister has a laundry room that is about the same size. SHE ONLY USES IT FOR LAUNDRY! If I had that space it would be a craft room and laundry room. I might even consider hooking up a TV so I could watch tv as I fold. lol

If I had a laundry room like THAT, I might not mind doing laundry! LOL
Glad you were able to find something so quickly!

That look so nice, and great news about the dog situation:) I totally understand about that part. We did have to pay a bit more for our dogs (half of our regular deposit as a pet deposit), but we have 3 dogs, and were so blessed to have this house.

Glas you have a great yard, and that your prayers were answered for the extra space :) Your laundry room looks like an office by itself, thats probably what the builder had in mind. Put the wife in the laundry room and leave her there to do all her business, lol. My washer is in my bathroom (it has a closet of its own), but our dryer is on our screened in back porch. It is getting kind of nippy here, and we are not looking forward to going out to dry clothes in freezing temps. We do ALOT of laundry, so we will be out there a lot.

The rest of the house doesn't nearly match the laundry room (it's small and not very useful. lol), but I'm savoring what I DO have instead of what I don't.

I'm claiming this room as my very own, to do with as I please!
