I have a quote that has been attributed to Benjamin Franklin all over the place, but I'm having a hard time finding the actual speech, book, article, letter or whatever was the actual source of the quote.

Anyone have any suggestions of a good website or search terms I could use?

Oh, if this helps, the quote is:
"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."

Thank you for any help you can offer!

I'm wondering if you can't find it because it really belongs to someone else?

Here's one that sounds very similar:
    http://quotes.liberty-tree.ca/quote/confucius_quote_ef11

    "Tell me and I forget.
    Show me and I remember.
Let me do and I understand."

I've also noticed a bit of a tendency for political leaders to take credit for a quote that REALLY is just a quote of someone else, tweaked a teeny tiny bit. Wondering if that might be the case here as well?

I love that site for other quotes as well.

adding: I am seeing on the internet where your quote is attributed to Franklin. Will keep looking ;)

All I could find was that he wrote in a card to someone. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.
