Its final! We are starting home school on Monday. We had the final PPT meeting and the test results sealed the deal in my mind. The Woodcock/Johnson tests that they give every 3 years showed a significant drop in scores. The 'team' made lots of excuses, but in the end, they failed. Big time. I'm excited to start and so is my son. Alhamdulilah (All praise to God)
Congratulations on making the decision! Now the fun begins! Seal this moment in your mind so when the rough days come, you always hold fast to why you started this journey. And remember, we're here for you with suggestions, musings, or just a listening ear (err, reading eyes?).
So excited for you! You are gonna love it! But like Amie said, remember the reasons you are choosing to homeschool. Not all days are fantastic.
