Please pray for my brother. He was bit by a brown recluse on the face and his in the hospital. The doctors are very worried because his face is swollen and they are worried about it getting to the brain. He is in Oklahoma for work and we are all in Michigan so he doesn't have any family with him but he does have his co-workers/friends. Please pray for God's healing and wisdom for the doctors.
Thank you all. He was in Hugo, he said it isn't a very good area. My aunt lives 2 hours away and just got there. She is taking him to Dallas where he can get better care. Her good friend is a surgeon so I pray he will be in good hands. Please keep him in your prayers.
Praying now! My SIL was bit by one on her leg and her whole thigh was huge and swollen. When the swelling went down, the necrotic tissue was so small that you could barely see it, like the head of a pin. God is good!
Glad to hear he's going to get to go to Dallas for treatment. Hugo is south of here and pretty small. He'll be in good hands there. Still praying for healing!
Update- He is in Dallas and is schedule with one of the best plastic surgeons tomorrow to have the dead tissue removed and try to save his eye. They needed a plastic surgeon because of it being so close to an eye. Their plan is to open it and take out the dead tissue, pack it and leave it open for a few days to watch. He may be in the hospital for approximately a week. The infectious control doctor came in tonight and said that the swelling has gone down a little and sounded very optimistic. God has been awesome though this whole thing. I hope my brother see's His hand through it all. Surgery is scheduled for noon tomorrow but they may move it up. Please keep him and the doctors in your prayers. Thank you.
He had surgery today and it went better than expected. Their was alot less dead tissue and not nearly as severe as they thought. He was suppose to stay in the hospital for a week and because it went so well he got discharged shortly after surgery! He will go back Tuesday for follow-up. Thank you for all your prayers!! We have a big God who can do anything!
I was praying earlier today the scripture about how we will trample scorpions and snakes....I bet we could add spiders! Fantastic news!
